My name is Hannah Clancy-Hughes.
I’m a London-based actor from Dublin, Ireland.
I graduated from The Lir Academy’s Actors’ Ensemble in 2023. Previous to this, I completed Bow Street Academy’s Six Month Screen Acting Programme.
I’m most at home in the world of comedy, especially within the wonderful realm of improv, where I have honed my skills through training with the Hoopla Improv Theatre in London.

Recent Work
The Cherry Orchid
The Cherry Orchid is a high-octane comedy which tells the story of an overly tidy, highly-strung individual whose life is turned upside down when a bashful assassin uses their precious home as a temporary safe house. I took on a multi-role (Brian, Assassin, Lily, The Boss and Tony) in this production of The Cherry Orchid by Broken Gods Productions at the Drayton Arms Theatre, written and directed by Calum McArthur.
In Vitro
In Vitro is a play by Aoife O’Connor which follows Lily and Sam, a queer couple in Dublin who are looking to start a family. I played the lead role of Lily in this debut production of In Vitro as part of the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival 2024, directed by Katie O’Halloran.
